01The agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and Agile Tech Forge for the use of CastMyGame: this website, the organiser portal, the public watch page and the mobile app (together, the "service"). By signing in, pairing a phone or streaming a match you accept them. If you use the service for a club or other organisation, you accept them on its behalf and confirm you may do so.
How we handle personal data is set out in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
02What the service does
CastMyGame lets several phones film one match, a scorer keep a live scoreboard, and a director choose which camera goes to air. The programme is streamed live to a YouTube channel you connect, with the scoreboard drawn into the picture, and to a public watch page. CastMyGame does not record or store video. We may change, add or remove features as the product develops.
03Accounts and phones
- The organiser portal requires signing in with a Google account. Keep that account secure; you are responsible for what happens under it.
- Phones join a match with its join code and do not need an account. Share join codes only with people you want filming or scoring.
- You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to run matches as an organiser.
04Your broadcasts and permissions
You own what you broadcast and the match details you enter. You give us a limited permission to process them only as needed to run the service: carrying the stream to YouTube, drawing the overlay, showing the watch page and keeping the scoring log.
Before you stream, you are responsible for making sure that:
- the venue allows filming and live streaming;
- the players, officials and anyone else clearly on camera have agreed, and for anyone under 18, a parent or guardian has agreed;
- you hold the rights to broadcast the competition, and to any music, logos or sponsor marks that appear in the picture or overlay;
- the broadcast follows YouTube's rules and the law where you film.
05YouTube
Streaming uses YouTube API Services. By connecting a channel you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. YouTube decides whether a broadcast is published, limited or removed, and sets quotas on how many broadcasts can be created each day. We are not responsible for YouTube's availability or decisions, and a broadcast may fail to start if the channel is not enabled for live streaming or the quota is used up.
06Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service to:
- stream anything unlawful, sexual, hateful, violent or harassing, or that infringes someone else's rights;
- film people in changing rooms or other private settings, or anyone who has asked not to be filmed;
- interfere with or overload the service, probe it for weaknesses without our written permission, or get around its limits;
- access matches, join codes or accounts that are not yours;
- resell or rebrand the service without our agreement.
We may suspend a match, a phone or an account that breaks these rules or puts the service or other people at risk.
07Our brand and software
The CastMyGame name, mark, overlay design, website and apps belong to Agile Tech Forge. You may use them only as part of using the service. The mark appears small in the overlay's foot strip; please do not remove or alter it in the stream.
08Availability and fees
The service depends on phones, mobile networks, venue Wi-Fi and YouTube, none of which we control. We work to keep it running but do not promise that every match will stream without interruption.
CastMyGame is currently free to use. If we introduce paid plans or bookings, we will publish the prices and terms before anything is charged, and nothing will be charged without your agreement.
09Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for lost broadcasts, lost audiences, sponsorship or revenue, or for indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the previous twelve months and 100 US dollars.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer where those rights apply.
You agree to cover our reasonable losses arising from content you broadcast without the permissions described in section 4, or from your breach of these terms.
10Ending the agreement
You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your data at support@agiletechforge.com. You can revoke YouTube access from your Google Account. We may end or suspend access if you break these terms, or stop offering the service with reasonable notice. Sections 4, 7, 9 and 11 continue to apply after the agreement ends.
11Changes and general terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; if a change is material we will tell signed-in organisers before it applies, and continuing to use the service afterwards means you accept it.
If part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a term straight away does not waive it. These terms are the whole agreement between you and us about the service.
